How Great Is Our God

The best part of the trip was that over 40 children and teenagers put their trust in Jesus Christ for salvation! It was amazing to see God work through us in a little church in the mountains of Jamaica. We were told that some of the children walked 7 miles one way to come to Vacation Bible School.

Swimming with Crocodiles

One of the "fun" activities I got to do in Jamaica was swim in the Black River. The only thing is the Black River is home to several hundred crocodiles. After seeing a few crocs, I was the second one in the water (after I pushed in our Senior Pastor, of course). The closest crocodile that we knew of was 100 yards away, and he left us alone. Only the naive Americans jumped in the water; all the informed Jamaicans stayed in the boat. And all the teens followed their fearless leader!

Pray for James

Pray for James as he is away in Jamaica for the week with the teens on a ministry trip. They are running a vacation Bible school, youth rallies and visiting two children's homes. They will be singing in the church tomorrow and giving their testimonies.

We finally jumped on the blog wagon!

Hi Karen,Dayna, mam and Tina!
You guys have been asking us to get a blog... so today while James has been working away at the church I decided to use the church computer to keep myself amused. I was trying to check your family blogs but, of course, ended up in the wrong spot. It said "compose your own blog" - so here I am.
I went to the doctor today. Everything was fine. 18 days left! :)
James leaves for Jamaica today with the teens. I am very excited for them. They will be back next Sat.
Sorry no pictures today but at least I am all set up for when Conor arrives to show him off to you guys.
Love to all!
Aisling
