Conor's first trip to the park

Conor loved playing at the park. There were no baby swings but Conor liked the big boy swings and he was so proud of himself swinging like daddy.

Guess what FINALLY happened

Conor finally cut a tooth - yeah!! He has been teething for the last few days (months!) so yesterday I stook my finger in his mouth at a youth activity and felt a tooth. I told James to do the same and he did. Then our friend Mary stook her finger in his mouth and he bite her - it's was a funny moment! No pictures yet...

Easter

We had a nice Easter. James and I used our fine china for the first time. We didn't take any family pics but we did get a pic of our Easter dinner :)

Conor's first time out in the snow

It is snowing here this weekend and for the first time Conor has been pointing to the window at the snow noticing something fun is going on outside! So I bundled him up and brought him outside to feel the snow - he liked it and loves 'taking it all in'.

Happy St Patrick's Day

We had a fun day yesterday! We ate lunch at an Irish restaurant and got to hear some great 'ol Irish music. We watched a little girl doing some irish dancing... we had fun and hope you did too :)

Last weekend we went to Ruth's Baby shower in Indy (James sister is having a baby girl in May). We had a great time and got to see a lot of family.On Sunday we went to Wisconsin and got to see loved ones there also and then on Wed we headed to Wisconsin Dells for the night with Andrew and Timothy. Thursday we travelled home and Friday started the sickness in the Solarek household. I was sick with a cold on Fri, Conor became ill on Sunday night and now James has a cold. This has been Conor's first sickness - he has a cold and ear infection. Monday was his really bad day. We took Conor to the doc on Mon and each day he has improved but still not himself.

Update

I have been trying to upload videos of Conor but as you can see I have not been sucessfull! :)
Conor is 7 months old now and loving life. He weighs over 16 pounds. He loves eating! He eats baby cereal, applesauce, bananas, carrots, sweet pototoes, green beans, bread and cheerios. I give him some water in a sippy cup but he hasn't figured out how to get the water out yet :)
James and I are doing well. We enjoyed a visit from his parents this weekend.
The week before that our truck died and our treadmill. I think I was more sad about the tread mill because it is still snowing here and cold so I enjoyed running in the safe warm basement...
Sunday we are driving to Wisconsin to see James' two brothers and go to a conference. We are also going to a water park with the brothers - that will be fun! We get to see a lot of friends from MBBC and stay with Layna :) It will be fun to show Conor off.
