A funny moment

I was looking through some of our pictures and I couldn't help but pull out these pictures and share them with you all. I thought it was hilarious but it might be one of those "you had to be there" moments...
We were down in GA with my brother's family and James took Zack in to see the peguin. Well, this lady behind us asked James if he would take her son in to see the puguin so she could take the son's picture (or maybe she wanted James' picture??) James said yes. And as he lifted the little guy up to see the peguin, he wacked the poor little guy's head off the ceiling (by accident) all the while his mom is snaping the picture. I took a picture too and was glad I caught the funny moment on camera. Well I thought it was funny (not that the little boy wacked his head but - anyway... short story long... :)

Our sweet boy

sorry it's been so long

Sorry we have not put more pictures of Conor on here - we are bad bloggers!!
Conor is now 6 weeks and 3 days old. We are having so much fun with him. He start smiling 2 weeks ago. That was the best feeling ever when he would look up and smile at us. He is so cute and so good. He sleeps through the night most nights - for that we are very thankful!

Wasp Invasion

Last Wednesday morning we (James, Aisling, & Conor) were sitting in our kitchen minding our own business when . . . James noticed a little hole in the ceiling. He touched the hole and it became bigger, and something started crawling out. Since we have no bug spray, James sprayed the hole with windex!!!!! He then stood on a chair and held a tupperware container over the hole. The container then began to fill up with angry, buzzing wasps. Aisling, who had remained very calm during the whole episode (not!), ran and found the duct tape. The problem was how to get the container off the hole and get the hole coverered without getting stung or filling the house with wasps. Aisling then grabbed Conor and ran to the neighbors house to get wasp spray (in her pajamas, of course). Our neigbor came over with the spray and somehow she and James killed the wasps and covered the hole without getting stung at all. Praise the Lord!

The duct tape fell off later that day, and we replaced it with cardboard. It goes well with our kitchen decor!

A Visit from Uncle Andrew

Uncle Andrew and Hillary came to visit us last Wednesday. Conor got to meet his last Solarek Uncle. And Andrew even volunteered to change a diaper. Timothy, you're next!
